क्लैम्प भट्ठा

A Clamp kiln located in Sangli, Maharashtra. This is a large clamp, having dimensions of 22 x 12 x 5 m and producing 2.5 lakh bricks per batch. In this kiln, almost 50% of the energy for firing is supplied by internal fuels i.e bagasse, ash from a sponge iron plant and paper factory boilers, mixed with clay.
