Standard Design of Zigzag Brick Kilns for Bihar (in Hindi)

The Bihar State Pollution Control Board (BSPCB) had issued a directive in August 2017 to the brick kiln enterprises in the state to upgrade to cleaner technologies. As availability of a standard design can greatly help the industry and expedite the process of technology upgradation, the BSPCB constituted an expert committee to review the available designs and recommend a standard design of zigzag kiln for the state of Bihar. With support from Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation, Greentech Knowledge Solutions Pvt. Ltd. team provided technical support in review of the available designs of zigzag kilns, technical analyses, and development of the standard design.
